Ken founded Resource Mosaic in 2005, after a 13- year career in Big 4 consulting. In addition to leading the staff augmentation and project consulting areas of Resource Mosaic, Ken is directly involved with C-level and director-level executive searches.
Prior to cofounding Resource Mosaic, Ken was a partner with Deloitte Consulting and led its southeast CFO financial management practice. He assisted many clients with financial issues including improving reporting processes, closing and consolidating the books, strategic cost reduction and best practices for accounts payable/receivable, as well as optimizing the accounting and finance function as a whole. Previously, Ken was a manager with Ernst & Young Consulting and held positions with Intel Corporation and NCR Corporation.
Ken earned a bachelor's degree from Villanova University and an MBA from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management. He serves on the boards of Outward Bound Atlanta, the North Carolina Outward Bound School, and the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership. He also serves on the Atlanta Federal Reserve Board Subcommittee on Education, Labor and Healthcare.
Katharine joined Resource Mosaic in early 2011 after 6 years with the Lucas Group where she was a senior partner on the accounting/finance executive search team. Working with clients ranging from small start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, she recruits top accounting and finance talent at the manager, director and VP levels. Her specialties include SEC reporting, accounting policy research, all areas of tax, internal audit, controllership, financial planning and analysis, strategy and financial systems management.
Prior to joining the executive search profession, Katharine worked at the William Morris Agency in Los Angeles. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), in 1999 with a degree in communications studies.
David Parker, senior executive search consultant
David joined Resource Mosaic in 2014 after 3 ½ years with an Atlanta accounting/finance executive search firm. His areas of focus include financial reporting, internal audit, accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, and data management. David worked in Big 4 public accounting in Atlanta with KPMG & PwC and utilizes that experience to assist his clients in matching opportunities with talented resources.
Working with clients of all sizes, public and private, David understands the importance of partnering with his clients to learn their business issues so that he can best help them over the long term. His experience is a unique blend of both accounting and financial systems which allows him to assist clients with a wide range of resource challenges.
David graduated from Wake Forest University in 1992 with a degree in accounting and also earned his MBA in Finance from the University of Georgia in 1997. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Georgia and also maintains his CFE, CIA and CISA designations.
